This is a 577 percent increase from April in the total number of Michigan land and property for sale. Of the 83 counties in the state, Oakland County had the most land and rural real estate for sale. There were 1,001 acres of sold land in Michigan recorded in April through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a change in sales activity over data from the month before. The most land sales in the state last month were recorded in Cass and Otsego County. In terms of its size, Michigan is the country's 11th-largest state, covering an area of 96,810 square miles (62 million acres). Wildlife to be found on land for sale in Michigan include whitetail deer, grouse, turkey, bear, ducks, and geese. Fishermen have their choice of bass, trout, pike, and walleye.
